I do think that the current trend to cut the size of the government is a good one, except there are certain basic not my department that it could be cut, but.

There are certain basic functions that only the federal government can do. Protect our borders, have a national standard for federal elections, because that affects all of us. And what our government and our founders did in designing the Constitution is protect all people from the tyranny of the majority.

But similarly, you know, you get emails from people and they identify themselves in certain ways. And I immediately, that's a signal to me to not take them as seriously as I would otherwise. So we all have to have shorthand for dealing with people.
