After she showed what seemed like a lack of concern for Ron's whereabouts.

I think that was part of the reason why people were looking at Margaret right away.

They say it took Margaret two days to file a missing persons report and that she did so only after Ron's co-workers informed police first.

Generally speaking, if the spouse is missing, the wife's the one reporting him.

One month later, when the detectives told Margaret that Ron had been murdered, again, Margaret's reaction raised suspicion.

We've notified a lot of people that their loved one is dead.

I've never seen a non-reaction like Margaret's.
