There's actually no shortcut to learning how to fix things and learning how to fix your mistakes.
And there is no such thing as building something or making something without making mistakes along the way.
That doesn't exist.
It doesn't matter how many YouTube videos you've watched.
And sometimes I take that idea too far now where I won't do any research and I'll just be like, I'll figure it out.
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
Let's...
switch tack let's switch tack tell me a little bit about the process of making kin and the difference i guess between playing a character that you created and did all this research around and then going and playing this character and really being this character like most most people know you as amanda kinsella kinsella damn it
Every time.
Most people know you as Amanda Kinsella and, or, you know, they love you as that character or they're scared of you as that character or they love being scared of you as that character, whatever it is.
But I guess I'm curious about the feeling and the process and the difference between
playing someone you created and who you know every little part of and can totally make them up as you go along compared to playing a different character.
Thank you.
I actually find it really hard to understand anything if it's not a building analogy.
Yeah.
I remember when Claire and I did a...
We did a reality TV show.
called high road low road where we got flown to a destination we didn't know where we were going and one of us got the fancy treatment and one of us got the bare bones basic treatment yeah um but i remember how weird it was for me that i was going on the show with you an actor someone who's been in this industry for so long and i was coaching you on how to be yourself on tv when you're not playing a character
Yeah.
