So good.
Really good.
His plus 22 was not an accident.
We'll talk about that on the other side.
All right, back here, segment two.
Everybody throw us a like if you guys are enjoying the show.
Let's get into some more nitty-gritty here.
Spencer Jones really shined last night on rewatch.
He played his 26 minutes, which you noted last night, Wind.
Big jump from what he had been.
And what stands out to me...
is that there's two guys that I think execute the little details of defense more often than everyone else, and that is Bruce Brown, who we've noted for his defensive impact lately, and Spencer Jones.
And when we think about this, we often think about on ball, like Spencer and Bruce both get into guys, and they pick up fouls because of it, especially Spence, but they get into guys.
But what I'm talking about is, and this is the biggest thing for Denver's defense, you have to cover for Yoke.
Yoke is going to be...
guarding pick and rolls up.
And that means the backsides are going to have to be proactive, not reactive, but early into the rotations so they can sprint back.
Nobody's better at this than Spence, man.
He is always in the gaps.
So if he's guarding a guy on one side of the floor and there's a pick and roll on the other, he's at the foul line all the way over so that with that guard tries to turn the corner, there's nowhere for them to go.
