So Spencer Jones, to me,
When you're playing next to Jokic, this is going to come in in our next segment.
When you're playing next to Jokic, it's kind of important for you to do these things.
And he does them better than anyone else.
So what does that say about what his minutes should be?
Put a pin in that.
I saw somebody in the chat saying, we need to talk about why Zeke Nagy played well and then Adelman benched him afterwards.
We talked about it on the show last night.
That's exactly what happened.
But it's because of why Zeke played in the first place.
And it was because they were trying to bring Jokic up into the pick and roll.
But they had a non-shooter on the court.
In this case, it was Ron Harper Jr.
And at other times, they tried to play Keita and Vooch together too big.
So it allowed you to bring in another big.
But the reason I bring this up β so Zeke played specifically because he was the perfect tool for that specific moment.
Once Boston made the sub, they only kept Zeke in for another couple possessions and then pulled him out.
There was no more need β
Why he was playing well was because he was designed for exactly what Boston was doing.
But it brings up this point to me.
