And I parted my hair in the middle because my writing partner, Jamie, had a Monsters book by Guillermo del Toro.

And that's the only Guillermo I knew.

So I parted my hair in the middle like his haircut.

And I went to the audition.

And I usually don't do that.

I don't dress up completely for a character.

I usually wear something in the color, in the essence of that character, but not fully.

And I think in my head, I was like, well, this is going to stand out.

No one on television would ever wear this.

And little did you know, I booked it and they were, and I went to first day to the fitting and stuff and they had taken a picture of my audition and literally they mimic the audition outfit.

And Taika was in the trailer room the first day for hair and makeup.

And he said, what'd you, what'd you do for your hair?

And I was like, Oh, I parted in the middle.

And I was, I was silly.

It was great.

Yeah.

We want that.

And then now there's Funko Pops with this character, the hair and the outfit.

Every time I look at those Funko Pops, I'm like, I did this.
