So, he has a lifetime of service trying to, you know, heal people.
And all of a sudden, people were looking at it and going, wait a minute, you guys are attacking this guy because he's anti-Israel?
Well, I'm anti-Israel.
And this guy's a doctor and he likes Medicare for All?
And we saw that in that process.
Mm-hmm.
This thing that got kick-started by Third Way, over the course of like the two months long manufactured outrage campaign and smear campaign, people started paying a lot of close attention to that race.
And Abdul El-Sayed surged in the first place and now has β
By all estimations, a commanding lead over Mallory McMorrow and Haley Stevens.
Mallory McMorrow, as a matter of fact, got destroyed in the polls since that started.
Like there is a noticeable drop off where I think she was trying to position herself as this Goldilocks candidate.
Somewhat progressive, but not so scary.
Right.
Warren endorsement had come for her as opposed to the Bernie endorsement for Abdullah Syed.
And I think in an effort to position herself as like the more reasonable anti-Israel voice that wasn't going to go that far, she ended up losing a lot of credibility with some of the progressives that thought that she was good, that thought she would be a great candidate.
I've seen so many people that were like, I actually was in support of Mallory McMurrow and told this Abdul El-Sayed stuff.
And as soon as this started, I donated to Abdul's campaign.
