And yet, there are plenty of redeemable aspects of Western liberal capitalist democracy, which is objectively a progressive historical force in comparison to feudalism and monarchies, right?
Some of those redeemable aspects are obviously our diversity.
which again, these Republicans want to destroy.
It's one of the best aspects of being an American is how in some ways racist America might be, but also how tolerant America is to diversity, diversity of opinion, but also certainly diversity of background.
Other redeemable aspects are due process and the protection over free expression.
And now we're taking all of that away.
So what do we have at this point that remains?
What is the redeemable qualities of living in the Western world if all of that is gone?
We certainly don't have material improvements that we're experiencing.
I mean, there was a Wall Street Journal article that just recently came out that was fascinating that said that the country that's having the biggest economic boom right now in the world is North Korea.
Isn't that crazy?
It was the Wall Street Journal that wrote this article.
They said North Korea has built more housing units in the entire country than California state has.
