I'm saying that you have a responsibility to be judicious in how you choose to exercise that right and all of your rights.
So, no, I guess I disagree with the president on that.
You certainly have a right to bring a firearm.
when you choose to physically engage with law enforcement.
You no longer have a right to carry in that situation.
Once you take unlawful actions, you've lost that right.
What if you're just using your cell phone to record them?
When you look at the totality of that circumstance, right, this isn't somebody that was sitting on a sidewalk who was detached and disengaged and recording.
This is somebody who was in the street who was struggling.
That was a rough thing to watch, and my heart goes out to that family.
But, again, when it comes to the constitutional right to carry a firearm, absolutely he had it.
I don't think that in that situation, I would have made that choice.
I would never save another woman from being shoved into the ground by an unaccountable Nazi investigation.
