This is the kind of thing that happens every year around this time, and it is called Orange Crush.
This is a beach spring break celebration of sorts for HBCU students.
And in some years, it has exploded to a gathering attracting 100,000 people.
And I have been to Orange Crush.

Not on purpose, though.
I got caught up in it.
I was on a bachelorette in Savannah, Georgia, celebrating my lovely friend and her wedding.
And it was just a bunch of us girls.
If you can picture what me and my friends look like, we stuck out like sore thumbs.
We were on our way to the beach, but not where this whole shenanigans was happening.
