Mayor-elect Mamdani had to say, this is a disgusting and heartbreaking act of anti-Semitism and it has no place in our beautiful city.

Now, did Zohra Mnamdani personally incite this attack per se?
No.
Do we know that the person who carried this out voted for Zohra Mnamdani?
Also, no.
But you can't ignore the fact that this attack happened the night after he won the race.
So are anti-Semites in New York feeling emboldened now that they have voted in a Muslim mayor who refuses to condemn Hamas and other terrorist organizations?
But in all seriousness, there are very real concerns about Mamdani's stance on crime, which is a huge problem in New York City.
It's part of the reason why I moved out of New York City.
I did not feel safe on the subways.
I tell this story all the time, but I witnessed a domestic assault, a very violent domestic assault on the subway.
I had to call the police and hope that they got there in time because there was not a police officer in sight.
If something bad happens to you on the subway, you walk out onto the subway platform, you're on your own.
No one is coming to help you.
That is the reality in New York City.
And that is the reality in a New York City where we had a mayor who still believed in police.
Zohra Mamdani does not want that.
