This one was a special education teacher at Stevens Elementary School.
She was arrested for first degree child rape and first degree child molestation.

And thankfully, in this case, that family member reported it.
Documents show that the child victim told police that this teacher assaulted them almost every day, sometimes as much as five times per day.
And the child claims that the abuse happened in and out of the classroom.
Sometimes it would happen in a timeout room.

clearly was well enough to be able and strong enough to be able to tell their parents what was going on.
In a lot of cases, children don't do this because they actually don't know that what is happening to them is wrong.
They don't know to report it because kids are told, hey, trust your teachers and do what your teachers say.

and signed a protection order for the child victim.
She's expected, this woman was expected to appear in court last week or last month.
