It's funny because...
The more pitchers I talk to, they say the same thing.
Yet, front offices are like, oh, we've got to hit home runs.
And I get it.
Home runs are important.
Science would suggest home runs are important.
But still, from the pitcher's perspective, it's like, this is the lineup I don't want to face.
Like, hey, front office, just a heads up.
Yeah, so I want to talk about you, about the evolution of you, like how you had in this offseason, how you felt.
Obviously, when you pitch, you're one of the best pitchers.
I mean, any team would love to have you.
So when you go into this offseason, what was that like?
I know that you've done this before, and I've talked to a lot of guys about the mindset of free agency, and sometimes when you do it once, it's a little bit easier the second time.
It worked out.
Was there any anxiety because of it?
Because again, I've talked to Lucas Giolito as a perfect example of this.
He landed at the last, it just was bad timing for him.
And it was this fluky thing, and then he has this normal off-season, but maybe that's a cloud that's hanging over.
So for you, were you able to get any anxiety out because you could prove that you were healthy?
Yeah.
