What a thriller in Las Vegas last night.

The Dallas Stars edged out the Golden Knights 5-4 in a shootout after blowing a three-goal lead in the third period.

Jason Robertson and Miko Rantanen sealed the win with their shootout goals, giving Dallas a much-needed victory.

But Vegas mounted a huge comeback, tying it when Mitch Marner fired a shot from the left point with just 48.7 seconds left in.

Regulation

Fans were on the edge of their seats as the Golden Knights rallied with three third-period goals from guys like Keegan Colsar and Riley Smith, who notched a shorthanded tally.

Smith now has 13 career shorties for Vegas, closing in on the franchise record.

Two stars hit milestones, too.

Adam Earn in his 400th game and Wyatt Johnston in his 300th.

Jake Oettinger stood tall for Dallas with 17 saves while Aiden Hill stopped 23 for Vegas.

Bourquet, drafted 30th overall in 2020, led the Stars' attack alongside assists from Jamie Benn and Sam Steele.

Dallas has won four of their last five and heads to Utah on Saturday.

The Knights, who have dropped five of six and struggle in shootouts at one and six, host Seattle the same day.
