You can't put yourself in tough situations in third down and long in the NFL anymore.

I don't know what the statistics say about conversion and those situations nowadays, whether it's much harder to convert third down and long.

It used to be maybe 20 years ago.

I don't know.

But the reality is that you have to make those adjustments now.

a little bit quicker, a little bit faster, and give the players on the field an opportunity to have the success with using their eyes.

Boy, they all have iPads.

We didn't have iPads.

There was no such thing as an iPad.

We'd have to go over to the stadium and go into the basement of the stadium and put on the projector and watch.

And I mean projector.

My first two years, we had a projector.

Okay, and then you went to the VCR tape, all right?

So you put on the projector and watch it.

And we also had the overhead.

What do they call those?

Remember the overhead projector?

Yeah, the overhead projector.

And they would slap down a piece of plastic and draw on it.

That's how we got the information.
