Now, he has an eight-year-old nonverbal son, Jack, who is severely challenged in life.
But for the last couple of years, Jack's been able to attend a mainstream school with one-on-one support, and he's absolutely thrived during that time.
Sadly, this week, the NDIS, which is the National Disability Insurance Scheme, cut Jack's funding.
He's a little legend, Jack, but they cut his funding, which was being used for the therapies that he's currently receiving, which helps him to thrive and integrate in that school effective immediately.
So no warning, no, we've got a few months to sort things out.
Don't turn up tomorrow.

Now, I find this rather un-Australian.
We're talking about vulnerable children and their families being treated like this.
Now, I understand that the NDIS has been sadly abused by many people and rorted, and I get that, and I understand it's hurt the Australian budget, and I'm all for them fixing it up.
cleaning up all the issues that are going on with it, but not at the expense of families and young children who genuinely need that help and support.
And what we've seen over the last couple of days, because I heard this interview that Snork did on the Carl Stefanovic show, and I'm glad it's being run with, and we all need to jump on board here.
But there are plenty of stories like this across the country.
So my slaughterhouse today is aimed at the Federal Health Minister, Mark Butler, and his team.
And I understand the difficulty of their job.
They're endeavouring to curb the budget, you know, the waste and all the spending that's going on.
