Well, as you know, there's three coaching vacancies at the moment.
The Tasmanian role being one of those, the Carlton Footy Club and then the Essendon Footy Club.
And there's a man who's going to be very prominent in pretty much all considerations.
And it's a man by the name of Corey Enright, a great player for Geelong and now working very closely with Ross Lyon at St Kilda.
And there's many thoughts given that he might be the person to take over from Ross when Ross chooses that time has come.
But Ross today at his weekly media conference has endorsed his credentials.
He ticks a lot of those boxes, Chief, that a club, particularly like Carlton, I think more so than this and then at this stage anyway, is going to be attracted to because of the CV that he's got.
Yeah.
I find it hard talking about the assistants because unless you've worked with them, you just don't know.
You really don't know how much genuine strategic acumen they have, what they're like with people and their personal relationships, what sort of leaders they are.
No, it was the presentation.
So we interviewed a heap of, basically, mostly we interviewed assistant coaches is where we went because we sort of got out of the Hawthorne loop and just tried to find who the best assistants were.
And whilst there was a level of most of them, he stood out like,
You know, dog's breakfast.
Howie, the knee... Dog's breakfast.
I wanted to say dog's balls, but then I changed it to clean it up, but he stood out like dog's balls.
So anyway.
Because it's a bit more like all over the shop, like a dog's breakfast, or standing out like... I tried to clean it up and not be so smug, and I couldn't come up with something.
