Celtic versus Hearts next Saturday at Celtic Park Celtic have to go over a considerable hurdle called Motherwell on Wednesday night but this for me probably the most dramatic potentially the most dramatic end to a league season since 1979 Let's hear from Danny Rule of course he was asked about his future and where this all reflects on him this was his answer
Only one man's important now Andrew Kavanagh And I think he's the type of man Who might speak to the Rangers fans In the days ahead Because they're looking for Someone to speak to them
And he is the owner of the club, effectively.
How Andrew Kavanagh regards Danny Rule is the most important part of the conversation, then.
The season is that crazy.
I think the Rangers fans will only go to Ibrox on Wednesday for the game against Hibs in the hope that Celtic lose at Motherwell.
I think the only reason that people will go
What do you think?
Well, you'd have to agree, Jim, that at Tyne Castle, a Falkirk side who have defensively lost their way, lost six to Rangers, lost three yesterday to Hibs.
Falkirk get anything at Tyne Castle, then it is absolute proof that hearts are blowing it, I think.
I would think it's impossible for Falkirk to win at Tyne Castle.
Impossible?
They knocked him out of the cup there earlier this season.
Yeah, yeah.
But, you know, hearts really will be looking at the collapse of all time if they drop anything to Falkirk.
There have been final days when the league has been won as a result of something that happened in another ground.
But I can never recall a final day...
like the one that we have coming up as i say monday night 1979 celtic beat rangers in the final game of the season at celtic park and won the league as a consequence for me uh what's that 47 years ago this is the biggest finish potentially for those 47 years if we get celtic hearts
