It is a book by an author called Marco Papic.
He works at an independent research house called BCA Research.
Effectively, it's such a great book in order to educate listeners that geopolitics is part of the investment decision-making framework.
It is not just on the side, so a lot of people probably just focus on
Earnings, valuations, those typical financial metrics.
But in an increasingly multipolar world where factions are being divided up between the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia, etc., and also, of course, the war in the Middle East, geopolitics is a key structural driver of asset prices.
And so, yeah, Mark has done a lot of work on how to frame that from a portfolio construction perspective, and I've been really enjoying that book.

The advice I'd give is we've been in quite volatile markets.
So March was a really, really tough month, I'd say, for a lot of investors.
And it's probably a shock that many investors, typically younger ones, haven't experienced.
So my key lesson is volatility is a price of the potential gains that you can get from the stock market.
And oftentimes, it is prudent and quite useful if you take a half-plus-four approach to investing because
As we know, generally, markets trend upwards 70% to 80% of the time.
Markets are going higher.
Patience is key.
Just really being invested in the stock market and trying to inhibit your emotions from taking over and panic selling can also work.
