I was a crack addict.

Showed really poor judgment when I was addicted to drugs.

I had... I made real mistakes in my personal life.

Never had an intention of cruelty or some kind of venal, you know.

I think all of it basically out of grief and trauma and loss and desperation and selfishness to try to fix that, whatever hole was in my heart.

But haven't we all?

And I really mean this.

And, you know, I say to people like Jake, you know, you cast the first stone, you know?
