Where it was rubbing on my neck, I wrapped it all around my sling and it just way cushioned that rubbing up against my skin.

It wasn't near as irritating.

About day three or four at gun site, I rewrapped my rifle and I took the old off because it was full of the, you know, the grit and stuff.

And it left no kind of residue behind on the pistol grip or anything.
