Now, I know Patrick Johnson and Post Media put out a big piece kind of extolling the virtues of Lawrence Gilman and saying he's the guy they should hire.

I also saw Rick Dollywall tweet

during the course of our show that as of right now, the Canucks have not requested permission from Columbus to speak to Lawrence Gilman.

I have no idea if that's a realistic possibility, if ownership would consider dipping back into someone from the Gillis era to consider leading the franchise.
