The only surprise to me in that, if in case, if it turns out, just for argument's sake, let's say they're co-presidents, or one's a president and one's whatever the other senior title is that you come up with.
I mean, those are huge commitments to take on those jobs.
And that would be more the surprise to me that they are willing at this stage to still do that and invest the number of years that they know they would be committing to do that.
Because again, I think when they first started with the Canucks, they wanted to be involved.
They wanted to give back.
But a lot of it had to do with, you know, their kids are all basically Vancouverites.
They wanted to
leave their kids in school and let them grow up here.
And then after that, they would decide what it is they would do with their lives.
And if they're going to be running the Canucks hockey operations, then that's a very big decision that they've made to do this with their lives.
And again, I know I'm repeating myself, but again, I think that would be a very positive thing for the hockey team.
Well, I can't really give you an answer as to why not to do that.
It seems pretty sensible, but I do think you have to respect Adam Foote.
I think you have to show him professionalism and courtesy and talk to him and see what he says about this past season and what he sees going forward.
But I know that I've seen that some people are worried because Toronto is sniffing around for head coach.
Well, what if Manny goes there?
and the Canucks lose out, well, Manny and Ryan are really close.
Like that, they've formed a special relationship.
And, you know, when there was a lot of talk a year ago after Manny's team won the Calder Cup that, you know, Dallas was interested or maybe this team was interested or maybe he would go here or there, I think there was a pretty good understanding between Ryan and Manny
That he was going to be staying here.
