And does our involvement in Venezuela spark a backlash in a Colombia?

Yeah.
No, it doesn't.
And I would argue Lula's political standing has been strengthened due to Trump.
A lot of- Oh, I've got, I had a, you'll appreciate this.
I teach a class for USC here in DC that's called How Washington Works.
And last semester I had an El Salvadorian student who-
said, yeah, boy, my parents and I don't speak about Bukele anymore.
She said, basically, if you live in El Salvador, you love the guy.
If you don't live there and you're El Salvadorian, you don't like the guy.
It's a fascinating- It's like 90% local approval.
Well, it's been interesting.
It's sort of like, and this is where you sometimes have cross currents.
There does seem to be a general tendency
move, you know, and we've seen this with Latin America, it's like a windshield wiper when suddenly, you know, five countries move left, then five countries move right, you know, and it does feel like there's a rightward pull right now.
You don't fear that anti-Americanism could suddenly prop that leftist government up.
