At the time, less than a year after Trump's election, all anyone's talking about is Trump.
People are extremely exercised about it.
So it's hard to ignore that, kind of.
I think it's impossible to ignore it.
I thought about this at the time, trying to think through what is this.
And the gun control is almost always the first thing Democrats call for when there's a mass shooting.
They leverage the death of other people for a policy aim.
