Almost instantly, people started using words, phrases that was never really heard in any kind of political context.

Will of the people.

Will of the people.

It's the kind of thing that you're used to hearing from about Hugo Chavez or something.

You don't really hear that kind of terminology in British politics.

Politics is supposed to be retail offers.

This party comes along and goes, you know, I'll do this with mortgages.

I'll do this with stamp duty.

I'll do this with schools.

Do you like it?

Because if you like it, that's rational, decent retail politics.
