Because they win no matter what.

They want longer audience retention.

And if it's in that case, it's fine, you know, for a lot of these platforms.

I feel like that person might have even seen that as a success, you know, depending on how much, how many views it got.

I think I think a big part of it is oddly enough, like finding what your like mission statement or goal is for what you're making, because if you're just kind of loosely with no direction, just making stuff, you can't really find your own niche.

But if you're like, yeah, like for Smosh, we kind of like huddled together and we're like, what is what is our main goal for Smosh in general?

And it's comedy rooted in friendship.

You know, so like that's that has really helped us kind of set our sights on what is what is our purpose.

So aside from just loving what you do, I think having a purpose for like, why am I making this?

What do I want out of it?

And can I sit with it through the long haul of all the tough times that I'm going to have, like getting to the place that I want to get to?

Because there will be tough times.

vanilla yeah i was like a lot of people uh you know like of course taking risks is a good thing and taking risks is scary people know that but they get this idea that like the image they have for the perfect way it's going to unfold is the only way yeah that it has to unfold yeah when in reality you're you're not going to know how it's going to get to that point and you have to have the patience and like discipline to keep it up throughout that entire process yeah totally

And, I mean, obviously way easier said than done.

That is hard.
