It was a sad, disconsolate Australian team with a sad consolation victory.

It was a game that Australia won much akin to that meme of that young girl dancing while crying.

Every wicked and boundary Australia took or struck seemed to make them sadder.

It was a detention game.

They were in detention and they had to fulfill their obligations and do it well.

So that's what we saw overnight.

Everybody is sad or getting ready for the Vegas game or still talking about AFL Origin.
