And that's where sometimes you can just go with the steady hand at fly half.
I think the more he plays, the more he'll learn.
You know, two years out from the World Cup, I'd say he's probably going to be the guy when we get to it.
No, there is loads of similarities.
You touched on it there.
Toulouse have a bit more power up front.
And with that, they're more comfortable holding possession higher into the phase count because they can just arm wrestle you around the breakdown.
And then that tees into what Dupont offers you, his ability to probe in around the breakdown.
The best time to do that is when your forwards are trundling forward.
You've got the defence are retreating, they're not getting set.
And then you've Dupont comes in, you know, skips outside the first two defenders, turns in the third defender, rips it out to Entenach and then they're away into space.
Bordeaux don't necessarily do that and they don't go anything as high into the phase count.
What I'd say is with Bordeaux in particular, they are very comfortable with the opposition having the ball.
especially around the halfway line and even around their own 10-meter line and allow the opposition to go 8, 10, 12, 15 phases into the phase count, tire them out, tire themselves out.
And Bordeaux will largely fill the field.
They don't contest.
They're very selective on what rooks they contest.
But when they do go in, they'll either go in with the heavy artillery on a counter-rook
Or poach the ball.
And when they do poach it and the opposition are on their 10th, 11th, 12th phase, that's when Bordeaux are lethal.
