You know, Braden Coutts, just to use him as an example.
So he surprises everybody by,
making the team, but it's really a short, short lived existence in the NHL for him as an 18 year old, but he got a taste of it.
So he goes back to junior and, you know, the, the feeling is, well, he, you know, it was encouraging what he did could be a middle, a middle six center for them.
Well, you know, people said the same thing about Bo Horvat and Bo Horvat made the team as a fourth line player who had to, you know, hustle and,
and kind of do some fourth line things.
And then Bo Horvat just blew through the glass ceiling.
He blew through the expectations that everybody had, whatever limitations people thought he was going to have offensively.
He blew through those and,
I don't know if he's a first-line NHL center.
Statistically, he probably is.
He's certainly a guy who is going to get you 30 goals and 50 or 60 points every year and play on your power play and make you a better team.
My point is just, whether it's Braden Kutz or somebody else, what we think of them now, it's not necessarily what they're going to be.
And there's going to be some guys who turn out to be worse, but there's going to be some guys who turn out to be better as well.
And I think it's going to be a lot of fun to watch those young guys develop and see how the standards and the expectations change for them.
Yeah, I kind of disagree with that.
I don't think it matters whether they so much what their record is next October.
I think it matters how competitive they look and do they look fully engaged?
Do they look cohesive?
Do they look organized?
