But in short order, sounds just a little more professional.

And perhaps I would hear this much more often in a service industry context.

perhaps at a hotel or a fancy restaurant, or even if I worked in maybe a corporate job and I was

speaking with my boss or supervisor, and I felt that I needed to sound a little more professional, then I could say, I will get that done in short order rather than right away.

It's really not that right away or something like that is unprofessional, but this in short order really does sound a little more professional.
