If you choose to work from home, you might also want to accept that your promotional challenges, your promotional opportunities may be limited.

Unless you're in a company where only individual contributors move forward because they're all super techie.

But in companies where you really have to work in teams to move things forward, I don't see how you can do it all on Zoom.

Performance with purpose.

You know, when I ran PepsiCo, I ran it on that motto.

To me, delivering performance in whatever field is one thing, but you've got to leave the place better than you found it.

And you've got to do it with a deep sense of, I want to make the world a better place.

I want to make the company a better company.

I want to make the employees feel better about themselves than when they, you know, came into PepsiCo or had a different leader.

So at every point in time,

How do you have a deep sense of purpose to leave the place better than you found it?

Those are the three words I use as a CEO of PepsiCo.

Those are the three words that continue to guide what I'm doing today.

This deep sense of purpose without taking your eye off the core performance you have to deliver.
