Like mothers and daughters do.

But I can say she's the one who anytime I needed anything, she was there.

I am Melissa's sister.

We're six years apart, I believe.

She was always the cooler, older sister that I always looked up to.

For my 18th birthday, my mother did this huge party and she actually got Alyssa to make a video.

Now that you're getting into adulthood,

We're gonna become best friends and we're gonna make lots of new memories.

We can do everything together now that you're older and so that was like really awesome for me at that time.

Me and Alyssa became friends in the sixth grade.

I was kind of getting bullied and she asked me to ride the bus home with her and we were inseparable ever since.

She's always been like a mama bird.

And she was bold and strong and had to teach me kind of how to stand on my two feet.

She gave me my braveness.

There was not a room that she could walk in that her presence wouldn't be known.

Whenever she got pregnant, it was very out of the blue.

She was very scared, but determined she was going to go through with it.

As soon as her baby came, she was all mom mode.
