Andrew, you are the guy who wrote the snake cult theory series of posts that we talked about last time, yes?

Yep.

And you contacted us to say, hey, if you want to talk to me personally about this kind of stuff, please feel free to do so.

And we said, heck yeah, that sounds like a great idea.

So today I kind of want to, I mean, maybe go over some of the snake cult stuff from before.

I think we got a lot of the main gist of it.

And so I don't want to retread a lot of old ground from a recent episode.

So I'm going to ask you a bunch of other tangential questions and just pick your brain on things in general.

This is a follow-up to our episode on the snake cult theory of consciousness, which aired...

three episodes back i think so uh listen to that one first if you didn't listen to it because otherwise you may not know what the heck we're talking about a lot of the time we don't recover a lot of the ground from the previous episode since it was so recently in the past

But before we get into all that, I think we should probably start with you saying, hey, you guys got something totally wrong.

And I want to clarify something.

Was there anything we got totally wrong that you want to clarify?

i may have contacted you directly to ask if it was okay to put an audio version of the post oh that's right oh yeah that's that's it that's it a large part of the credit for us getting what you were saying should go directly to you you write in a very easy to understand very personable style which just gets across your point uh i think

I dislike the highly academic style of writing because it seems to intentionally obfuscate things for the purposes of sounding like all highfalutin and fancy.

I much prefer when people just talk to me directly.
