And I knew, I knew that she was a baker.
I couldn't say why.
She never said anything.
She wasn't holding anything, but I knew.
I knew this is what she was.
I know she wanted me to keep going.
She was going to give me something if I walked far enough, but I didn't know what.
I was going to have to look for it, though.
It was going to be in a cool, dark place, which I wanted so badly to hear at that point because it had gotten so hot.
All I could think of was this cool, dark place, and I was happy again.
I had a reason to care.
I had a reason to keep walking.
