Yeah, she has a similar arc, actually, where she really is an antagonist.
She's sort of like the bully to the main character in the first series.
She's just a side character.
But she becomes, you know, she completely, I mean, if you haven't read that series, I'm sorry.
But she becomes this great, you know, fighter for justice and essentially like a queen by the end of it.
She does, doesn't she?
Yes, she does.
Because that's the thing as well.
She remains true to herself and her flaws as well.
She is quite a strong-willed character who does think very highly of herself, which is in a great way, especially by the end of it.
She becomes kind of confident in her abilities and she also has to go through this kind of period of growth as well.
And then I also do think that I do love her for her connection with Nikolai, who is one of my all-time favorite characters as well.
But he doesn't go through as much growth, I guess.
get Cresta out of here.
Well, it's the believable 180, right?
Like I think that's what a series gives you room to do is in one book.
I just don't think that there's as much space for you to really go into the development of a character and go through change and put them in these situations where they have to really, you know, face different things and overcome them.
And yeah, I think it just gives them space for arcs like this, which you don't get in a standalone book.
Yeah, I guess when you're really rooting for the relationship, maybe it is a bit controversial because you're like, oh, I just spent a whole book wanting these characters to be together and now they're apart.
But I think I agree.
