Okay, that's all right.
Wrong episode.
So I was really happy when there was another perspective introduced to kind of counteract that so that you, again, it expands the world.
You kind of have something else, a new conflict, a new tension, a new mystery because, yeah, there were so many questions about who is Caspia?
Why is she?
How is it connected to Caspia?
what's happening in Calandra, because she's on a completely different continent.
And I think that they kept the mystery of that going, even though at first you kind of think, oh, okay, this is where the crux come from, but you kind of don't know exactly how it plays out.
And more about the mythology of kind of how the magic works, where things are coming from.
Because yeah, in book one, you're kind of like, this is the way that it is.
The crux migrate every, like once a generation.
Yes, there was the kind of disease with Lyssa, which was introduced as well.
But yeah, I do think that that kind of exploring the lore more intensely.
And it's just always exciting to have kind of new places to explore.
Like the shapeshifter thing was great.
And I think
It kind of played into the whole monstrous theme, too, because, you know, immediately from the get go, instead of just being, you know, black and white, the crux are evil, monstrous birds that try and kill everyone.
You're realizing that, no, these people see them in a completely different light.
So how did we get here?
Yeah, because usually I guess if you're kind of going, you know, looking at the fantasy map, if you're going to a different continent, you kind of know that it exists and they kind of have referred to them probably in book one, like we said before, like you'll get those little seeds of the broader world building.
