I would say that there are players who you expect to be key components for the Royals who just aren't producing so far.
I would say there have been some wins.
With Salvador Perez at the age he is, you always have to kind of worry, like, okay, is this finally the start?
He's been horrendous, but he hasn't been as productive as he normally is at the plate.
Vinny Pasquitino coming off of injury, he hasn't been really that solid yet either.
They brought in Isaac Collins, and he hasn't been as good as he was last year for Milwaukee.
So I think that there are more holes in the lineup
then you probably would have expected kind of coming into the year.
And then, you know, I think that they've also, again, like there are absolutely people listening to this who are watching the Royals day in, day out more than I am.
So I want to, you know, just acknowledge that.
But I would say that when the bullpen, I would say that the bullpen is like, okay,
It has not been โ I think they're still trying to figure out kind of how they're going to line up this bullpen in the long run and kind of who are the guys to depend on, who's moving into that role, who's not.
Like, I would say that โ I just don't feel like that this team is really kind of like โ it has not all come together, you know, obviously.
Cole Reagans has been, you know, banged up a little bit.
That doesn't help, you know, but that's not been, I think, the key reason for it.
