It's just something where change up.
Generally, those guys have to develop the breaking ball a little bit more.
The other part of this is, I would say, is he throws his fastball and his breaking balls.
He throws them for strikes.
So if you have kind of that foundational piece, right, that really kind of sets you up for success because he's got a fastball that plays pretty well.
You know, again, I'm not going to say it's an amazing fastball or anything like that, but it's playable.
And then he's got a pair of, you know, he's got these breaking balls that,
I do think our swing and miss pitches, you've got to have something that you can get swings and misses with against big league hitters.
I do think he has the potential to have that.
And you put that together, okay, that's the starting point for a guy who really can kind of move up.
And as you noted, this is a guy who doesn't really โ should not take as long.
Stuck around pick, but he was out of Texas A&M, so you're not talking about a guy who โ
is going to need a whole lot of time at the lower minors.
This is a very encouraging start for him to see him do what he's done already because, yeah, I don't think it's crazy to think that you could be talking about him potentially fitting into the rotation.
I'd say 26 is a little early, but 27?
No, that wouldn't be anything crazy at all.
And I'm not even saying โ 26 isn't out of the question.
