The flip side of that is what we were talking about with the Tigers last year, right?
Where it's like, okay, it was the same people doing the same things in the first half and the second half.
And in the first half, they were geniuses.
In the second half, you could say, oh, are they idiots now?
It's one of those things where it's like, these things are very complex.
And one thing I've said about the Royals for a multitude of years is that
It hasn't paid off in, you know, much like it, you know, it hasn't paid off like it did in the middle of the last decade, obviously.
Back-to-back World Series, World Series title.
But I do appreciate that this is a team that actually tries, you know.
And I mean that not from a, you get a gold star because you actually make an effort.
But I do feel frustrated sometimes looking from a follow-on team who...
kind of look at it and say, no, we're not going to try to make this team better.
We hope to win 82 this year.
I do appreciate that they tried to make this team better.
We'll see if it pays off or not.
And if it doesn't, there has to be an accounting of why and how can maybe, you know, what needs to change and all that.
But it's something where, again, I've seen teams over the years where it's like,
they get to kind of a point and it's like they don't seem to want to try to get to that next level.
