We'll get to Travis in the running back room.
I know you really want to.
Hey, we just heard from the quarterback there, and I asked him about his relationship with the head coach and how it's grown and changed as the season has gone along.
I remember, what, week three in Cincinnati, he's waving him off when Liam's yelling at him, and then they have the midseason conversation about letting it rip, and that's what he referenced there.
It's kind of when the tide turned for him when he threw three picks the week after that, but they still had his back.
It kind of showed that Liam was not β
was serious about it.
And then all of a sudden the confidence was there the rest of the way.
It's been fun to see this thing really develop between Cohen and Trevor Lawrence.
Correct.
And he couldn't go to Parker at that moment because if he goes there, the safety undercuts it.
It's interception.
If he had another second to second and a half to get that ball out, then I feel like Parker would have came open and he would have had that.
It might have been a touchdown with him running there.
But the offensive line, unfortunately, didn't give him enough time.
uh fate the quarterback sneak where he went for 12 yards or whatever it was eric armstead let up he stopped yeah so this is the thing you want to blame anybody you blame him well and i think it's really telling because you're always taught regardless of the position you're always taught you go towards the whistle to the whistle right if you look at that play armstead puts his arm up almost to signify like hey why isn't the play being stopped
you can't do it you can't do it especially especially in the trenches man where it's you know there's there's a lot of meat being pushed around let's just say you can't go like this and give yourself up and that's exactly what happened there can't can't happen yeah yeah he let up on that play i thought cleveland and those two on that play kind of were like it wasn't a let up but it wasn't it was weird and then
I think that's a situation of a guy didn't know if he should hit him to get the penalty possibly or just try to deflect the football, and he got caught in limbo, and that's what happened.
Mm-hmm.
Parker Washington had another day in terms of yardage and touchdown catch.
