Well, I think he can be an every-down running back, too, because he was super useful in the pass game.
He's very good in the pass game.
This, to me, is the question of do you feel confident letting him go and then having Tootin and Allen?
One of the first times we saw him open it up in the open field.
It's always kind of been between the tackles with him and physical, which we saw that yesterday, too.
But he got wide on the right and then opened it up.
It's like, okay, there's the speed that we've heard about.
We really haven't seen him go full throttle.
What I saw yesterday was an extension, though, of the run trying to get Chavez CT in the football in critical moments.
And that was in the pass game.
And then I thought he delivered when he had to.

My only argument is that I think he was the most dependable thing the entire season.
I understand Stranger's up there too, Parker Washington, but you want to talk about from week one until now, he was dependable.
Now, I understand the shelf life of a running back, it's finite.
We can sit here and say, okay, he was playing for a contract.
What happens when he gets the contract?
That's a game you can play, but I just have a hard time of letting dependable players go that were such a big help to your offense, and especially...
in a Liam Cohen offense that seems to feature the running back position not only between the tackles and the outside, but also in the receiving game.
And I think he's the best at doing that.
