But I think as a game, like, I think it's more, the question is more, is it unfair Perth don't have some kind of advantage rather than is it unfair that PNG don't?
I'll ask you this, and I'm going to go out on a limb here because I reckon you boys agree.
Take yourselves back to playing NRL.
Right now, and I'd love to get your answers, even if the PNG Chiefs weren't offering tax-free money, are they still more appealing than the Perth Bears to go and play for considering that you're starting a whole new nation of rugby left?
Yes.
Like, would you rather as a player go play for PNG Chiefs right now considering that you're about to represent a country and everything they can achieve than Perth Bears?
It's a tough one.
I would.
I would.
That's a scary thing though.
The fact that you're, we're even considering the fact that you're hesitant shows you.
No, but what I'm saying is like, let's say, because right now a lot of people are going, people are only going to go to PNG because of the tax-free money.
But I'm saying, even if you took the tax-free money away, PNG at the moment, in my opinion, are still more appealing than Perth because of the fact that you're going to a country to build this, like the legacy that could be left there.
Whereas right now, what is actually appealing about the Perth Bears?
But let's say you had to choose between Perth and PNG.
Would there be any incentive?
Like, I'm going to start a whole new country's team.
It's certainly a way more even playing field then.
Then it should be.
It should be.
