This is what Cleveland needs to be doing.
Miles Garrett putting in a year like he did last year.
They won five games.
So you have to understand at that point, even at his peak, at his best, you're not going to be a playoff team nor a Super Bowl contender.
The Rams, on the other hand, they're going, we've never cared about first-round picks.
And now maybe, Curtis, there's more clarity why they took Ty Simpson
where they did in the first round because they had the belief they could land someone like Miles Garrett.
Might as well get your quarterback to replace Matt Stafford.
Why you got a first round pick right now, but put the chips in, go all in and say we were in the NFC championship game last year.
We want to assemble one of the most lethal defenses in the NFL.
They got Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs.
They signed Jalen Watson, so you know that secondary is going to be shored up.

But you're hoping that versus a young player, multiple years of control, still on a rookie contract, and multiple picks, including a first-rounder, that can begin to reshape your team.
That's what always bugs me in the NFL about teams that are nowhere close to contention, but they continue to pay guys to keep the fan base happy.
And I'm not even sure a bunch of Browns fans were that happy about giving Myles Garrett that type of money because you're going, they still can't score.
It doesn't matter if we hold teams to 24 points.
We can't score more than 10.
