Being out in the chaos is absolutely necessary because people need to understand what's happening and they need to actually make an informed opinion, not just based on what's happening in media.
To a certain extent, yes, I think so, just because, like you said, they're getting backing from the media.
They're getting backing from their local and state politicians.
Now, I will say that actually BBC did a good report just at the end of last year where they interviewed a man from Honduras who was initially saving up money to cross illegally into the United States, but because of the show of force โ
that ICE and Border Patrol and DHS is doing within the United States to do interior enforcement that has dissuaded him and many other people from even making the journey.
So it's a double-edged sword, right?
And I would say that the self-deportations are happening at a much higher rate than people are expecting.
Obviously, that's not everything.
And yes, people do need to be found, especially those with hardened criminal records need to be found because they're probably not going to leave on their own accord.
That's why it's so dangerous of what U.S.
citizens are doing by injecting themselves into these situations.
And the vice president, you know, Vice President Vance just yesterday was very correct when he said that this was of her own making.
This idea that you can just park your car perpendicular to interrupt this convoy and think that nothing is going to happen.
Like at a minimum, you're not going to be detained to figure out what's going to happen to ascertain what's going on and what your intentions are.
But that's where we are right now, and that's why I'm pretty concerned that this is just going to continue to escalate as the year goes on, especially โ I mean who knows what's going to happen in year three of the Trump administration because this isn't going to end as soon as it does.
