But the optimistic view, which you outline in your book, is that AI has a role to play, might have a role to play, in sort of the technocratic process of merging all of the voters' intentions together in a way that democracy just fails to do substantially in practice, right?

Yeah, I think that's about the level that I would trust them to decide on and not higher.
