A ton of people were there.
And of course, Charlie, as we know, so popular with Gen Z, so popular with the college kids.
Well, it turns out that, and they're taking great pains not to identify who this individual was.
This is actually one of the things they're talking about, whether or not this person should have to testify.
But it turns out one of the family members, they're saying an offspring, so either a son or a daughter of one of the prosecutors on the case, was actually there on this atrium or, excuse me, amphitheater area, the quad of UVU when Charlie got shot.
So because of this familial connection, then Tyler Robinson's lawyers are trying to get
that prosecutor or possibly all the prosecutors, in fact, the entire Utah County Prosecutor's Office, struck from the case, get them all kicked off the case because of this connection.
But the judge came in, and earlier in the hearing, I'm kind of like watching it as I do this, and said, look, hold on a second.
Was this person a victim?
And they said, well, no, they didn't even actually see it because the head was turned when that took place.
OK, is this person a material witness?
No, will not be called as a material witness.
So the problem is, if this person is not a victim or a material witness and was really just kind of a bystander, then it doesn't actually meet the legal threshold.
And the judge has been saying this, stating this over and over, doesn't meet the legal threshold for a conflict.
interest and is basically a lot of people are watching it saying look the defense lawyers know this the defense team knows that it doesn't meet the legal standard doesn't meet the legal threshold at all but it's a delay tactic because they know that the evidence is not on their side they know that they're up against a mountain of evidence that Tyler Robinson did in fact murder Charlie Kirk and so they're trying to delay delay delay delay and that's all this is
Well, so Brian Enten over at News Nation, who's a fantastic reporter when it comes to this, you know, the crime beat.
He went in and found a family member of the furry, Lance Twiggs.
And the family member came forward saying that Twiggs at one point was under FBI protection.
That may have been witness security.
It may have just been general protection due to threats that were being made at the time.
