Well, on that note, where should people reach out to if they do see something?

Excellent. And of course, if people see something, they should also email me as well to tell the story. Email me first and I will connect them to everybody else. It's the easiest way to do it.

All right, thank you so much to Kate, Troy, and Gerald for all speaking to me for this story. My conversation with Troy and Gerald was very brief because they're both so busy, but I 100% need to get these guys back on for another conversation about Bigfoot and all their adventures. I had so many more questions to ask these two.

They probably deserve their own episode, and I'm sure if they're down, that will happen in the future. I think my favorite part about this one is all the little absurdities mixed into the story. I really like the idea of Kate and her friends dressing up as emos. for whatever reason, and then going to Denny's, and then all of this happening to them.

Suddenly, there are these guys on their land with equipment doing this terrifying Bigfoot expedition in Kate's backyard, and then, of course, doing some kind of crawfish boil. Something about the image of these dorky teenagers and the burly Bigfoot experts sitting down to share a huge outdoor seafood dinner is very funny and beautiful to me.

The only thing I didn't love about this story is the fact that Kate claims she can't find those photos that her and her friends took dressed up in the emo outfits before all of this happened. Part of me wonders if she's just... trying to hide them, which would be very understandable. I would probably be doing the same exact thing. That brings us to the end of this episode.
