I've said this since the beginning of this show, that this is a very common reaction to experiencing something paranormal like this. When it actually happens to people, I think it's so disorienting that... Pretty much everyone wants to quickly get back to their normal life as fast as they can.

And for that reason, she jokes that maybe her parents were abducted by aliens and she was some kind of result of this.
