They are chosen by human publishers.

Elon's Grok is a very tweet-heavy diet.

So it's inclined to be crude and troll people just like the text it's consumed.

Google's Gemini, it's consumed the transcript of every YouTube video.

So it sounds pretty YouTubey.

And OpenAI, having started years before the rest of them, has pretty much eaten everything.
